Christmas is a joyous time of year and for Barbadians it is traditional, festive and warm season. We invite you to be a part of the tropical Christmas celebrations in Barbados and enjoy all the island has to offer during this time.
- Carols at the Abbey – This much anticipated event takes place in the magical setting of St. Nicholas Abbey. Come out and enjoy the Royal Barbados Police Force Band and a good old fashioned Carol sing starts at 4:00 pm.

- Christmas Day Morning Concert in Queens Park 2017
Every year many Bajans, flock to celebrate Christmas morning in Queens Park and to be part of this Barbadian tradition. Music is compliments of the Royal Barbados Police Force Band, a Tuk Band and other gospel performers. Cultural entertainment is also part of the morning’s itinerary, but the fashion parade by the public is a major highlight of the morning. Fashion statements can include from back-in-time outfits to the latest fashion trends.

- FLOW Rugby Barbados World Sevens – The FLOW Rugby Barbados World Sevens is the latest edition of the longest running Club Rugby Sevens tournament in the Caribbean.
Previously known as the Trinidad Enthusiasts Sevens. More than a dozen Senior Men’s and Women’s and 8 U-20 Men’s and Women’s Club teams will be competing from Barbados, Canada, USA, Scotland, England, the Caribbean and more.

- Barbados Sailing Week (formerly The Mount Gay Round Barbados Race Series): The 82nd annual Barbados Sailing Week includes 3 days of coastal racing on the south and west coast of Barbados, and the main event, The Mount Gay Round Barbados Race on Errol Barrow Day, Jan 21st. Racing Yachts range from the windersurfer class to over 180′ in length. Any skipper breaking an absolute record for this race wins their weight in rum!

- Historic Garrison – A Military Story – A Walking Tour: Long before the sport of kings and goat racing, the Garrison Savannah held its own as St Ann’s Fort. Tour these historic grounds and learn about the prison, hospital, the place where the first President of the United States stayed as a young man.
