Charming, intimate, and beautifully appointed with expansive views, it hits all the right notes. Jalousie shuttered doors open out to a large wooden deck with an informal breakfast and dining area. Off the deck is a private pool with vistas that take in the golf course and the coast. The cottage is fully self-contained with an open concept kitchen and living area that is bright and breezy. The double bedroom is air-conditioned and adjoins a unique, romantic semi-outdoor shower. Guests can enjoy a truly laid back, tropical retreat, and just exhale.

We loved our stay here . The property exceeded our expectations. It is very spacious for two people - with a large bedroom and bed, nice outdoor shower and good kitchen - lounge area. The outside area is lovely with a nice seating and eating area on the terrace with beautiful views over the Cap Estate. There is a gas bbq, made it nice to eat in. The little plunge pool is a great addition with further seating. Very well equipped and Blue Sky proved very responsive with a couple of issues we had with the electrics! The pool was kept clean and it was also cleaned during our stay. It is a great base for exploring this part of St Lucia - with the beach, Pigeon Island and many restaurants only a 10 minute drive away. We would definitely return here if we go back. Definitely make sure you get supplies in Rodney Bay before you reach the property as there are no shops close by.

My husband and I stayed here for a part of our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. The view and the pool are incredible. It’s very private yet easy to get to in a rental car. There’s lots of great restaurants and beaches within a 20 min drive and really close to two golf courses. The staff at Blue Sky Luxury were very helpful with directing us to places we wanted to get to. Great place and even better people, I would recommend it to anyone.

I just want to say everyone who is a part of the Blue Luxury team is fantastic. It was my boyfriend’s birthday, and they gave the best recommendations. It’s so nice seeing how concerned they were with making sure we got to the place safe. The housekeeping kept everything wonderful. The location is so close to restaurants, beaches, and parties. The view is also incredibly unreal! When I look through the pictures, it looks like AI on the deck. Please do yourself a favor and book with them!

Loved the views from the deck, and good air conditioning in the bedroom. You would definitely want a rental car to stay at this property as it is more rural location but it’s only a 10 to 15 minute drive to the Rodney Bay area with options for restaurants & beaches. Lots of Birdsong and night sounds, and colorful sprays of bougainvillea and plumeria. Friendly Housekeeper and groundskeeper as well as management staff, who checked in with us when we arrived. We loved the plunge pool, being able to dine, regardless of the weather, alfresco and the options for lounge chairs.

We loved this place. Views were great and area quiet. Breakfast on the balcony every morning with 3 little birds joining us daily for breakfast both in and out of the villa! Cheeky but cute. Plunge pool to cool down after days out was perfect. The bed is huge and the cotton bedding a delight with the air-con in the room to keep us cool too. Marguerite from Blue Sky villas popped over to see us to check all ok and gave us some tips on where to go and restaurants etc. A nice touch. Brian the pool man kept pool area clean daily from leaves etc and Sherma the housekeeper who lives in villa above was like a magic fairy popping in when we were out to sort bins, and linen etc. We had everything we needed there. The cooker/oven is very dated circa 1970s but we only used hob once or twice anyway and worked fine. Only downside is because of the state of some of the roads and the traffic to and from Castries going South to visit the island by car can be a bit of a pain as it takes approx 2 hours to get to Soufrière and around but it was still worth the effort as the scenery is just gorgeous. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a beautifully set out space. The different decking areas and plunge pool gave ample possibilities to bathe in the sun or read in the shade. Cap Estate is out of the way, but we asked the taxi driver to stop off at a supermarket so we could pick up groceries. We didn’t hire a car, but enjoyed the 50 min walk to smuggler’s Cove and the cab to pigeon island was approx $20-25. Highly recommended!

We loved the Orchid Cottage. It was the perfect site for our second week in Saint Lucia. The view, the wide open deck, the airiness of the space, the fun of the plunge pool all made it a magical place to be. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed. We appreciate the gracious welcome and generous hospitality Sherma gave us. The location in Cap Estate was ideal, in a country setting but close enough to Pigeon Island and Rodney Bay to be convenient. We loved the beach next to Pigeon Island. We do have one complaint, something Blue Sky can't control, and that is the incessant barking of dogs in the area, especially at night. It is disruptive and upsetting. Other than that, Orchid Cottage was an ideal setting for our visit to Saint Lucia.

Beautiful clean cottage exactly as described with gorgeous views. Margueritte and Sherma were very responsive and quick to address minor issues. Close to the Daren Sammy cricket ground, we could even see the stadium lights from the balcony. Instructions to get to the cottage was clear (follow Margueritte’s direction, not GPS). Cottage was beautiful and clean with ample supplies. Pool was dreamy, very romantic atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My fiancé and I traveled for the first time and decided to stay here based on the reviews and location. It did not dissappoint it was the perfect mix of having staff and independence. The place was the perfect size for the two of us and Brian and Sherma were absolutely amazing providing transportation, cottage cleanliness and some delicious goat curry, and great recommendations to local areas. It was amazing to get up, take a dip in the pool and relax on some days and other days head to local beaches. We will definetly be coming back, if you're thinking about spending time here I highly recommend.

Orchid Cottage is a lovely private retreat with a great view. The small pool is perfect for cooling down in. Sherma the housekeeper took great care of us and makes a delicious goat curry and other local dishes. Margueritte, the Blue Sky Luxury rep came and gave us lots of useful info about the area etc. Recommend you hire a car if you are staying there. There is easy parking and Rodney Bay is a 10 to 15 minute drive. Highly recommended.

This cottage is absolutely breathtaking! Such gorgeous views and a very peaceful area. The pool was very nice as well, overlooking Cap Estate which is the best view ever! There is AC & a fan in the bedroom and only a fan in the living room/kitchen area so that tends to be very warm, but if you leave the patio door open, you can get a nice cool breeze to circulate inside. I even used the BBQ grill outside which was was nice - (Brian the caretaker helped me with setting this up - he was very helpful and kind throughout my entire stay!) Be prepared for the bugs and flies, however you will be able to find bug spray in the cottage which you can use to spray the rooms to minimize the amount of bugs/flies, so I made sure to do that every day. All in all, I will say this place has a very romantic, private and serene tone to it which I think will be perfect and better suited for couples unless if you like the reclusiveness on your own then this will also be perfect for you 🙂

Sherma was so wonderful keeping the cottage clean and is a wonderful cook and gave us wonderful recommendations for dinner and things to do. Brian did a wonderful job keeping the pool clean. We loved our time at the Orchid Cottage! The view is even more beautiful in person, and the pool is exactly right for two people. It was the perfect temperature as well, not too warm or too cold. Plus the groundskeeper cleans it daily early in the morning. Everyone at Blue Sky was super friendly, helpful, and responsive. The host checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything or had any questions. She also booked a catamaran for us! The cleaning service was thorough and frequent. There were only a few things we didn’t love. The bed was very large, but a bit hard - as were the pillows. We got used to the bed after a few nights and we were brought other pillows after we asked, however. Also there is only A/C in the bedroom, so the kitchen and living room get very humid, but if you open the patio doors and get a breeze going it isn’t bad at all. Also beware of the potholes going up the road in Cap Estate! Overall, we loved are trip! 5 stars and definitely would recommend!

Wonderful restaurants. But the best of all, was waking up to INCREDIBLE views every morning, and sitting on the deck or in the pool every evening. Best trip ever!!

Lovely cottage with a fantastic view from the deck and quiet, private surroundings which is perfect for a relaxing holiday. A car is pretty essential as restaurants and supermarkets are not within walking distance but there are lots of beaches and bays within a 15-20 minute drive. The hosts are easily contactable if you need anything and the cottage is well equipped. In all a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Our stay at Orchid cottage was amazing from start to finish. It was me and my girlfriends first trip to St. Lucia and we felt right at home in this cottage. The views from the balcony are so beautiful to wake up to everyday. The pool is perfect and is secluded and private. The hammock in the back is so relaxing and you can take in some more amazing views from it. The bedroom is big and air conditioned. Brian was a huge help on the property for advice and there to answer and questions you have. He was very kind and made us feel very comfortable. When we come back we will definitely stay at this Villa we found on AirBnB again. Thank you!

I highly recommend staying at Orchid Cottage for your next trip to St. Lucia. The unit itself is beautiful with amazing views from the balcony, privacy from neighboring units, a private pool, and air conditioned bedroom. From a value standpoint, I am not sure you can have better accommodations than Orchid Cottage. The unit also includes a private parking spot which is a great convenience, since you will need a rental car to get around the island (be sure to rent an SUV, as you have to drive on some unpaved roads to get to the unit). The hosts are amazing, they were there to greet us when we arrived, provided recommendations on restaurants and local beaches, and arranged for a doctor to come to our unit to give us COVID tests which were needed to return to the U.S. This is not the everything-at-your-fingertips resort experience, but at the same time you are not going to be roughing it by any means. If I return to St. Lucia, I would stay here again.

Orchid Cottage was amazing and the staff made our experience even more incredible. Margueritte reached out a couple weeks in advance of our trip and was able to book 2 excursions for us and when one was cancelled due to curfew, she remained in touch about possible rescheduling options. I would highly recommend booking the shared catamaran experience. You are able to do so much for an amazing price. When we arrived, we arrived later than expected and Brian was there waiting for us with a smile, and he was able to show us around quickly. The view from the cottage was even better in person and when we were unable to leave the villa due to all day Sunday curfew, the pool kept us perfectly occupied all day long. I highly recommend staying here if you can!

Nice villa in Cap estate which is a residential/ golf area. 10 min drive to Gros Islet and Pigeon Island. Lovely views and the deck and pool were great. Big comfortable bed. Naked fisherman bar / restaurant / beach. We were looked after very well by all. There was an issue with the plumbing but they sorted it out extremely quickly and efficiently.
