La Mer’s unassuming exterior only enhances the delight of the bright airy home that opens to a spacious pool deck with excellent views. This villa property consists of a main building with 2 air-conditioned en suite bedrooms, modern and fully equipped galley kitchen and a split level living and dining area. The bedrooms and living space open by way of glass folding doors onto the main pool deck, bringing in sea views and breezes.

The villa is Caribbean contemporary design, with minimalist lines and bursts of tropical hues against a white canvas. La Mer invites quiet contemplation on its large deck, with loungers for sun worshiping or stargazing, and both indoor and outdoor seating for dining. A special feature of the property is the stand-alone master suite, Coconut Cottage, set apart from the main house by a few feet and featuring king-size bed, en suite bath and equally wonderful sea views, with a bit more privacy.

My family of four had a great stay at La Mer in Cap Estate, Gros Islet. The location was great. It was close to restaurants and amenities but felt like a world away. The outdoor space was heaven and we enjoyed the wall of windows that, when opened, brought the outdoors, and the beautiful breeze, in. Bedrooms were air-conditioned. The kitchen was a little tired (could have a few more kitchen tools, as well), as were a few elements of the house, but once we got into vacation mode, it didn't bother us at all. We would rent here again.

We had a wonderful time at La Mer. Nadine was there to greet us on arrival and explained everything in detail. She worked with my family to make our mornings enjoyable and plan our meals. Victor was our driver to and from the airport and I highly rec that transfer. Illtyd helped plan our tours, all of which were very well done and as described in the details. I would rec she send all the details a few days before arrival in regards to the pick up times and confirmations. The house is well kept and thankfully, fairly clear of mosquitos. Plenty of shade on the pool deck with umbrellas. Please remember that the cottage is separate from the house and does have an outdoor bathroom that does not directly connect with the bedroom out there. The location is fantastic and we felt very safe through out our stay. Would highly rec the naked fisherman at Cap Maison. Car is really not needed as taxi's can be arranged (we did rent one and didn't use it much). Thank you for sharing your home with us.

The view is gorgeous, the people are so kind, and the food is so good. It was so nice to get together as a family and enjoy what St. Lucia has to offer while being able to come home and relax! Nadine ,our lovely house guide and cook ,made delicious and even threw together a cake for our daughter's 19th birthday. Overall a beautiful , well spent, vacation! Happy New Year! Thank you to all. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!It was everyone's first time trip to St, Lucia and it was important to us that we really experience the island , and your villa helped us do that! The glass doors were opened every chance we had. We all took turns taking showers in the cottage shower with the open windows. The pool and the views are simply amazing. I will say that this house is so amazing that we stayed for almost two weeks and did not got out of the house, just to do groceries. We felt so good there that I will definitely love to come back. Nadine, the lady that cook and clean was so good and helpful that we felt she was part of the family. The true is that we couldn't ask for more. Iltyd the lady that manage the property was very profesional and coordinated all our excursions, rental car, and transfers from/to airport in a very smooth way. I did not had to worry about anything, This was a real vacation for us. The view in the pool area is out of the world.

When we arrived at La Mer, we were warmly greeted by Ms. Nadine. She gave us the grand tour of the place and answered all our questions, did not rush us at all as we took our time taking in the beautiful view. The house was very well thought out, and we just loved the doors that opened all the way to make us fee a little closer to nature. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool every day after our adventures around St. Lucia. Ms. Nadine cooked us a wonderful meals and breakfasts. My son loved her and loved her cooking as well. We will definitely want to stay here again if we vacation in St. Lucia again.
