Cadasse is located on a hillside overlooking lush green upscale residential areas and golf courses - the locals call the area the Beverly Hills at St. Lucia. There are beautiful 180 degree views towards the east coast (Atlantic)and partial views towards the west coast (Caribbean). From the covered terrace on the first floor marvelous sunrises and sunsets can be seen. The pool and the pool area was great (the bubble bath was not heated though). Spacious master bedroom with nice bathroom en suite an a spacious walk-in closet. Large kitchen and living room with TV (the cabel connection was a bit unstable though). WiFi worked seamlessly and enabled good videoconferencing. The furniture was well and tastefully selected - it was however a little bit worn - but not really a problem. Our housekeeper Sherma was so nice and kind - kept the house cleen and did great cooking for us :-). We had opted not to have a rental car during our stay but rely on local drivers - it worked out well and was not too costly. The beaches on either side are 2 - 3 km away and within walking distance if you don't mind hilly terrain - both down to the beach and up again. However if you try to make short cuts away from the bigger roads and venture onto the smaller roads we found that several houses had guard dogs that were not behind fences - so they would come running and barking at you out on the public road - at times a little intimidating. All in all we would certainly recommend Villa Cadasse if you want a relaxing vacation a little away from the more touristy areas. It probably will work fine also if you are 3 couples as you can rent the 2 extra bedrooms below - they looked fine as well.
