Another fabulous getaway to Margate and Barbados for me sister and I from Toronto, Canada which is very brrrr cold now & snowy.We love this home. So quiet for sleeping yet close to action. Margate Gardens is in an excellent location! Great food is right across the street. Public transportation is available right outside. The ocean is right across the street and visible from the front patio. There's also a convenience store in the shopping center next door. The view is beautiful minus the one pink restaurant directly across the street. You're close enough to still hear the ocean but during the day it can get interrupted by the sound of traffic and you can hear the whistling frogs at night. It's still worth sitting out there though. The unit looks just like the pictures. They even had the beach towels on the bed shaped like mermaid tails! The pool area is beautiful. Even though it's in a condo complex, it was never crowded. And the landscaping was amazing! We had an issue with the locks, but between Taunia, the concierge, and property manager, it was resolved and everything worked out. I would definitely stay at Margate Gardens again and highly recommend it for others.

Our third time in this paradise and again, the people were amazing! Barbados is truly my favourite! We had a great time, terrific location. 3 couples were able to each have our own space plus a great common area to gather. We toured the entire island, up to Animal Flower Cave, over to Bathsheba, the south beaches and of course the West beaches and The Gap. Men - folk went on a fishing tour and hooked up a ton of great fish. We enjoyed the pool and all the great bars and restaurants! Great place!
